The Victim's Advocate works to be there for those who are sometimes going through the worst times of their lives.  

The following is a list of some of what is provided for Caldwell County residents:

~ If you have been physically abused or stalked, contact this office for assistance completing Orders of Protection applications. 

IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR GO TO THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

~Providing information and support to victims throughout the court process. 

~Act as a liaison between the victims and the Prosecutor's office. 

~Supporting victims and their families.

~Providing resources such as counseling and Crime Victim's Compensation referrals.

While advocates can go with you to court, they cannot give you legal advice.
