Fingerprints

The Caldwell County Sheriff's Department provides ink fingerprinting services for professional licensing, background checks, employment, and volunteer positions.

Fingerprinting is done by APPOINTMENT ONLY

We do not offer Livescan fingerprinting.

The type of card we use is FD-258, which is standard.

If another type of card is required by an agency requesting prints, we will not provide the card.

There is a fee of $7.50 per card for fingerprinting.

Acceptable forms of payment are exact cash, cashier's check or money order. Personal checks will not be accepted.

Individuals being fingerprinted must bring a valid driver's license or Missouri ID.

WHAT TO BRING FOR APPOINTMENT

- A valid photo ID (e.g. driver's license),
- $7.50 (exact) cash, cashier's check or money order
- Any instructions / forms given to you from the agency requesting prints.

CHILD FINGERPRINTING

Every 40 seconds a child goes missing in America.

The Caldwell County Sheriff's Department has Child Identification Information cards available for free which include fingerprints, identification information, medical information, etc. that can be provided to authorities if ever needed.
