On 07/02/2026, at 6:52 am, a 19-year-old male from Odessa, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Old Highway 13 in Hamilton and cited for no driver's license.
On 07/02/2026, at 9:09 am, a 53-year-old male from Cowgill, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Dodger Road in Polo and cited for speed (12 mph over).
On 07/02/2026, at 9:53 am, a 53-year-old male from Joplin, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route T in Polo and cited for speed (13 mph over).
On 07/02/2026, at 5:43 pm, a 33-year-old male from Renton, WA, was stopped at Highway 13 and Old Highway 13 in Hamilton and cited for speed (20 mph over).
On 07/03/2026, at 6:46 pm, Caldwell County deputies responded to an address on Fox Meadow Lane at Hideaway Lakes for an attempted break-in.
On 07/03/2026, at 10:18 pm, a 41-year-old male from Excelsior Springs, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route B in Cowgill and cited for speeding (24 mph over).
On 07/04/2026, at 2:23 am, a 25-year-old male from Crest Hill, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and Litton Road in Breckenridge and cited for speed (35 mph over).
On 07/04/2026 at 4:15 pm, deputies responded to 36 Highway at Hamilton for a report of a domestic dispute in a vehicle. The parties involved separated, and no arrests were made.
On 07/04/2026, at 9:18 pm, a 17-year-old male from KCMO was stopped at Highway 116 and Holstein in Polo and cited for speed (17 mph over).
On 07/04/2026 at 10:53 am, deputies responded to a residence on Woods in Braymer for a report of harassment and stalking. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor, which resulted in the issuance of an arrest warrant for 28-year-old Brandon Boin of Bosworth, MO.
On 07/04/2026, at 10:25 pm, a 16-year-old male from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 13 and Dogs and cited for speed (20 mph over).
On 07/04/2026, at 10:22 pm, a 32-year-old male from Springfield, MO, was stopped at W. Berry and Hughes in Hamilton and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 07/09/2026, at 12:41 am, a 20-year-old male from Lathrop, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Brangus in Lathrop, Caldwell County, MO, and was cited for speed (30 mph over).
On 7/6/2026 at 12:34 pm, a deputy took a walk-in report at the Sheriff's Office of harassment, which was reported to have occurred at Hideaway Lakes. No charges were filed.
On 07/06/2026, the Sheriff's Office began investigating sexual acts involving a child at an address in Kidder, MO. The suspect is currently at the Missouri Department of Corrections on unrelated child sex crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
On 7/06/2026 at 2:04 pm, a deputy responded to an address on Tri-County Line for a property dispute between neighbors. No charges were filed and no arrests were made.
On 7/6/2026 at 1:59 pm, a resident of Lee Summit, MO, walked in the Sheriff's Office to report a domestic disturbance that occurred in Breckenridge, MO. No charges were filed.
On 07/06/2026 at 10:21 pm, a 24-year-old male from Sedalia, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Broadway in Kingston and cited for no driver's license.
On 07/07/2026, at 8:00 am, deputies responded to an address on State Route B in Cowgill for a deceased subject. No foul play was suspected.
On 07/08/2026, at 4:01 am, a 32-year-old male from Jamesport, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Kendal in Kingston and cited for speed (10 mph over).
On 07/08/2026, at 4:42 am, a 24-year-old male from Trenton, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Kendal in Kingston and cited for speed (24 mph over).
On 07/08/2026, at 8:40 pm, deputies responded to a residence at the 600 block of Main in Braymer for a deceased subject. No foul play was suspected.
On 07/09/2026, at 1:36 am, deputies responded to Polo for a report of subjects rummaging through vehicles.
On 07/09/2026, at 6:24 pm, a deputy conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Elm and St. Paul in Polo, which resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old Miguel Alexander of Polo for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Alexander remains in custody with no bond.
On 7/10/2026 at 11:15 am, a resident of Polo, MO, reported a scam that cost them $3,400 from a fraudulent phone call.
On 07/10/2026, at 7:37 pm, a 65-year-old female from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route U in Hamilton and cited for speed (12 mph over).
On 7/11/2026, at 9:16 am, deputies were dispatched to an address on Ash in Kidder for a domestic dispute. The parties involved separated, and no arrests were made.
On 7/11/2026 at 11:29 am, a resident of Hamilton reported they requested plumbing services on a Facebook post and were scammed out of money. The investigation is ongoing.
On 07/11/2026, at 7:04 pm, a 41-year-old male from KCMO was stopped at Highway 36 and Nettleton in Hamilton and cited for speed (19 mph over).
On 07/11/2026 at 9:21 pm, the Caldwell County detective began an investigation of sexual abuse involving a child at an address on Turkey Road in Breckenridge, which resulted in the arrest of 52-year-old Michael Lee Allard. Allard was arrested in Arkansas after he fled to avoid apprehension. He remains in custody with no bond.
On 7/11/2026 at 1:30 pm, deputies responded to the area of State Route A and State Route F in Braymer for a stolen tractor. The tractor was found near State Route A and Toledo, but it is unknown who moved it.
On 07/12/2026, at 9:58 am, a 37-year-old male from Naperville, IL, was stopped at Highway 116 and Highway 13 in Polo and cited for speed (21 mph over).
On 07/13/2026, at 2:35 am, a 45-year-old female from Polo was stopped at Main and Elm in Polo and cited for no driver's license and an equipment violation.
On 07/13/2026, an assault between inmates was reported to have occurred at the Caldwell County Detention Center. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office, which resulted in charges of assault filed on a 35-year-old male inmate from Shawnee Mission, KS. The same inmate was also charged with property damage for intentionally damaging a Kiosk machine.
On 07/14/2026, at 12:30 pm, a 32-year-old female from Breckenridge, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Highway 36 in Hamilton and cited for expired plates (August 2025).
On 7/15/2026 at 7:15 am, a deputy responded to Colt Drive in Polo for a report of illegal dumping in a creek. The deputy made contact with the Department of Natural Resources, and arrangements were made to remove the items that were dumped.
On 07/15/2026, at 12:55 pm, a 25-year-old from Lawson, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 Zach Wheat in Polo and cited for speed (11 mph over).
On 07/15/2026, at 2:40 pm, a deputy responded to the Caldwell County Detention Center for a report of damage to a padded jail cell. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office, and a 30-year-old male inmate from Carrollton, MO, was charged with the damage. The investigation also led to the arrest of a second inmate, a 68-year-old female from Braymer, MO, who was also charged with property damage to the same cell.
On 07/16/2026, at 7:30 am, a deputy responded to an address at the 4000 block of SW Highway 116 in Polo for a report of a dog bite. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Health Department.
On 7/16/2026 at 11:30 am, a resident of Chillicothe, MO, walked into the Sheriff's Office to report they were being harassed by an individual who resides on Lincoln Street in Hamilton. The incident was forwarded to the Chillicothe Police Department.
On 7/16/2026, at 3:40 pm, a deputy took a report of a stolen truck from Mayapple Lane at Hideaway Lakes in Polo. The investigation is ongoing.
On 07/16/2026, at 1:50 pm, a 30-year-old female from Excelsior Springs, MO, was arrested on a Caldwell County warrant for non-support at the Caldwell County courthouse.
On 07/16/2026, at 6:37 pm, a 70-year-old male from Concordia, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Dogs in Hamilton and cited for failure to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 07/17/2026, at 10:38 am, a deputy took a report of illegal contraband that was brought into the detention center by a 24-year-old male inmate from Independence, MO. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office.
On 07/17/2026, at 1:42 pm, a 23-year-old male from Kalamazoo, MI, was stopped at Highway 36 and Highway 13 in Hamilton and cited for speed (25 mph over).
On 7/17/2026, at 3:00 pm, deputies and Caldwell County EMS responded to a residence on Fox Meadow at Hideaway Lakes in Polo for an unresponsive 5-month-old child. The child was transported to a medical facility, where it was discovered the child was suffering from abusive head trauma, also known as Shaken Baby Syndrome. The investigation led to the arrest of 22-year-old Matthew Munson of Polo for child abuse. He remains in custody with no bond.
On 07/18/2026, at 12:16 am, a 17-year-old male from Lathrop, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route T in Polo and cited for speed (21 mph over).
On 07/20/2026 at 1:30 pm, a deputy took a report of a vehicle that was rummaged through on Main Street in Polo.
On 07/21/2026, at 3:57 am, a 31-year-old male from Chicago, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and Highway 13 at Hamilton and cited for speed (25 mph over).
On 07/21/2026, at 1:07 pm, a deputy took a report of fraudulent checks that were cashed at the Hamilton Bank in Polo. It was also reported fraudulent checks were cashed at bank locations in other jurisdictions. The Hamilton Police Department requested assistance from detectives with the Highway Patrol because of the multi-jurisdictions involved, and this incident was included with their investigation.
On 07/21/2026, at 6:03 pm, a deputy authorized two abandoned vehicles to be towed from Catawba Road, north of Highway 36 at Breckenridge, and Catawba Road, south of Highway 36 at Breckenridge.
On 07/21/2026, at 7:08 pm, a 50-year-old male from Cowgill, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Royals in Cowgill and cited for failure to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 07/22/2026, at 5:43 am, a 31-year-old male from Pleasant Valley, MO, was stopped at Washington and Benton in Kingston and cited for speed (10 mph over).
On 07/22/2026, at 9:38 am, a deputy took a walk-in report at the Sheriff's Office from a Braymer resident. It was reported they sent photos to an individual they believed they were romantically involved with, who in return blackmailed them by threatening to post the pictures. The investigation is ongoing.
On 07/23/2026 at 7:10 pm, a deputy responded to the Casey's in Polo for a report of illegal dumping.
On 07/23/2026, at 8:00 am, a deputy responded to the Caldwell County Detention Center for a report of a subject in their parking lot with no driver's license. The subject, a 29-year-old female from Cameron, Caldwell County, MO, was gone upon arrival, and the report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office.
On 07/24/2026, at 8:20 pm, a 54-year-old male from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 13 and Longhorn in Kingston and cited for speed (10 mph over).
On 07/24/2026, at 10:22 pm, a deputy responded to a custody dispute at a residence on Elm Street in Cowgill, MO, which resulted in a report to the child abuse and neglect hotline because of the living conditions of the home.
On 07/25/2026, at 2:50 pm, a 49-year-old male from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route U in Hamilton and cited for speed (12 mph over).
On 07/25/2026, at 9:20 pm, a 34-year-old male from Cameron, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route P in Hamilton and cited for failure to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 07/25/2026, at 11:34 pm, a 19-year-old male from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route U in Hamilton and cited for speed (20 mph over).
On 07/27/2026, at 4:49 pm, a deputy took a report of a theft from a residence on State Route D in Kingston. It was reported by the property owner that someone unlawfully entered upon the property and a stolen trail camera. The suspect has been identified, but not yet located.
On 07/28/2026, at 5:30 pm, a deputy responded to a residence on Kidder Road in Kidder for a report of a burglary and theft. The investigation is ongoing.
On 07/29/2026, at 9:20 am, a resident on Highway 116 in Lathrop, Caldwell County, MO, reported their mailbox damaged.
On 07/29/2026, at 3:13 pm, a 60-year-old male from San Pendro, AR, was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route U in Hamilton and cited for speed (30 mph over).
On 07/29/2026, 5:44 pm, a resident of Hideaway Lakes in Polo reported their package stolen.
On 07/31/2026, at 8:58 pm, a deputy stopped a 21-year-old male from Hamilton near the intersection of Davis and Berry Street for careless and imprudent driving by spinning tires. The driver was arrested for being a minor in possession by consumption / zero tolerance. The passenger, a 19-year-old male from Albany, MO, was issued citation for being a minor in possession by consumption
