Caldwell County Sheriff's Office July, 2025-NEWS RELEASE

On 07/01/2025, at 6:57 am, a 22-year-old male from Odessa, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Far West, Kingston, MO, and cited for speeding (18 mph over).

On 07/03/2025, at 7:48 am, a 20-year-old male from Lee Summitt, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and Business 36 in Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (26 mph over).

On 07/04/2025, at 11:34 am, a 47-year-old male from Chillicothe, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and Highway 13 in Hamilton, MO, and cited for failing to register. 

On 07/04/2025 at 12:46 pm, a 26-year-old female from Gallatin, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and Caldwell Road in Kidder, MO, and cited for speeding (19 mph over) and no driver's license.

On 07/05/2025 at 2:46 am, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to 8440 Caldwell Road, Kidder, MO, in reference to a structure fire.  The fire was extinguished by KAW fire and no foul play was suspected.

On 07/05/2025, at 9:25 am, deputies responded to an unattended death at a residence on Wisconsin in Breckenridge.  

On 07/06/2025, at 7:38 am, deputies began an investigation of fraud and financial exploitation of the elderly that occurred at a business at the 800 block of S. Colby in Hamilton.  The suspect was identified as an employee of the business, and the investigation is on-going. No foul play was suspected.

On 07/06/2025, at 1:47 pm, a 24-year-old male from Chicago, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and State Route K, Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (34 mph over). 

On 07/06/2025, at 2:18 pm, a 35-year-old female from Decatur, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and Joe Montana Road, Cameron, MO, and cited for speeding (34 mph over).  

On 07/06/2025, at 4:10 pm, a 24-year-old male from Chicago, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and Ponderosa Road, Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (22 mph over). 

On 07/06/2025, at 4:29 pm, a 31-year-old male from Shawnee, KS, was stopped at Highway 36 and Elm Grove in Breckenridge, MO, and cited for speeding (20 mph over). 

On 07/06/2025, at 5:38 pm, a 19-year old female from Hamilton, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and State Route B in Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (19 mph over). 

On 07/07/2025, at 8:52 am, deputies responded to an unresponsive subject at an address on N. Franklin in Kingston.  The subject was deceased upon arrival, and it is believed they died of natural causes.

On 07/08/2025 at 12:26 am, a deputy responded to the 300 block of Main in Braymer for a report of theft.  Due to lack of cooperation in investigation, no charges were filed.

On 07/08/2025, at 8:30 am, a 30-year-old male from Breckenridge, MO, walked into the Sheriff's Office to turn himself in on a Caldwell County warrant for non-support.

On 07/08/2025, at 4:30 pm, a 51-year-old male from Hamilton, MO, was arrested at Supervision Services in Hamilton on a Livingston County bond violation warrant, on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while revoked/suspended.

On 07/09/2025 at 7:35 am, deputies were dispatched to an address on Morgan Road in Hamilton, for a dispute over property.  The incident was determined to be a civil issue, and no charges were filed.

On 07/11/2025, at 2:20 pm, a 49-year-old male from Polo, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route V in Polo and cited for no driver's license.

On 07/12/2025, at 11:00 am, a deputy took a report of a lost or stolen license plate from a resident on Old Highway 36, Cameron, Caldwell County, MO.

On 07/13/2025, at 8:39 am, a 42-year-old male from Valdosta, GA, was stopped on Highway 36 at Lovely Ridge, Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (25 mph over). 

On 07/14/2025 at 11:30 am, Caldwell County Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Yankee Ridge Road in Polo for a report of a burglary not in progress.  Video surveillance from a business across the street from the residence captured the break-in.  The investigation is on-going.

On 07/14/2025, at 5:08 pm, a 47-year-old male female from Hamilton, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and State Route J, Kidder, MO, and cited for no vehicle registration. 

On 07/14/2025, at 6:10 pm, a deputy took a report of an assault that occurred between two inmates at the Caldwell County Detention Center.  A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County prosecutor.

On 07/15/2025 at 9:02 am, Caldwell County Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Crab Apple Road in Cowgill, in reference to a structure fire.  The fire was extinguished, and no foul play was suspected.

On 07/15/2025, at 11:24 pm, a deputy responded to a domestic dispute at an address on N. Ewing in Hamilton.  The parties involved agreed to separate, and no arrests were made.  At approximately 12:35 am, the deputy was dispatched back to the same address, which resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old male from Hamilton for endangering the welfare of a child and domestic assault.

On 07/17/2025, at 11:00 am, a deputy took a report of a missing juvenile from an address on Timber Ridge in Cameron, Caldwell County, MO, who was later located and returned home.

On 07/17/2025, at 11:15 pm, a 68-year-old male from Cameron, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route P and cited for speeding (20 mph over). 

On 07/18/2025 at 12:00 pm, Caldwell County Deputies responded to Hideaway Lakes in Polo in regard to a 911 call from a subject who reported they were a runaway/missing juvenile from Kansas.  When the juvenile was located, they reported they had been in the company of a 37-year-old male from Overland Park, KS.  On 07/23/2025, the male subject was arrested by Caldwell County deputies following a traffic stop.  The male subject was found to be in possession of a homemade temporary tag, which was attached to his vehicle.  He was taken into custody for driving without a license, forgery, and sexual exploitation of a minor.  His bond is $150,000 cash only.  This investigation also resulted in the arrest of a 34-year-old male from Polo for abuse of a child, tattooing a minor without parental consent, and unlawful practice of tattooing.  During his arrest, he was also found in possession of a controlled substance. His bond is $25,000 cash only.  The investigation is still on-going.

On 07/18/2025, at 10:42 pm, a deputy conducted a traffic stop at Honeysuckle and Proctorville Road in Braymer, which resulted in the arrest of a 35-year-old male from Braymer for driving while intoxicated.

On 07/19/2025, at 2:08 am, a 42-year-old male from Polo, MO, was stopped on Highway 13 and Meadow Brook, Polo, MO, and cited for no vehicle registration. 

On 07/19/2025 at 10:11 am, Caldwell County Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at an address on Sparrow Drive at Hideaway Lakes in Polo.  The dispute was verbal, and the parties separated.  No arrests were made.

On 07/19/2025 at 2:00 pm, Caldwell County Deputies arrested a 79-year-old male from Braymer for Violation of a Full Order of Protection.

On 07/20/2025, at 8:10 am, a 27-year-old male from Polo, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Highway 116, Polo, MO, and cited for no vehicle registration.  

On 07/20/2025, at 10:58 am, a 24-year-old male from New Cambria, MO, and cited for no vehicle registration.  

On 07/20/2025 at 10:55 pm, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on State Route V in Polo, which resulted in the arrest of a 41-year-old male from Polo on a Clinton County failure to appear traffic warrant.  

On 07/20/2025, at 4:32 pm, a 26-year-old female from Palmyra, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and State Route J, Kidder, MO, and cited for speeding (19 mph over). 

On 07/20/2025, at 4:50 pm, a 20-year-old male from St. Louis, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and Kidder Road, Kidder, MO, and cited for speeding (20 mph over). 

On 07/23/2025 at 9:47 pm, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 116 and State Route B, in Cowgill, which resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old male from Cowgill for driving while intoxicated with a prior driving while intoxicated conviction.

On 07/24/2025, at 4:00 am, a 20-year-old female from Branson, MO, was stopped on Highway 13 and Far West Road, Kingston, MO, and cited for speeding (16 mph over).

On 07/24/2025, at 6:04 am, a 42-year-old female from Hamilton, MO, was stopped on Highway 36 and State Route K, Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (26 mph over).

On 07/24/2025, at 10:36 am, a deputy took a report of an order of protection violation that occurred at a residence on Pike Drive in Polo.  A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County prosecutor and the suspect, a 53-year-old male from Jamestown, MO, was charged with violating the order.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

On 07/24/2025, at 4:01 pm, a 61-year-old male from Polo, MO, was stopped at Main and Maple in Polo, MO, and cited for no vehicle registration. 

On 07/24/2025, at 4:15 pm, deputies responded to an address on Falcon Drive at Hideaway Lake in Polo for a report of a possible suicide.  A subject was found deceased, and the injuries appeared self-inflicted. No foul play was suspected. 

On 7/25/2025 at 12:39 am, deputies were dispatched to an address on Highway 13, north of Hamilton, for a report of a subject who brandished a firearm at a large party. The investigation is on-going. 

 

On 07/27/2025 at 5:41 pm, deputies were dispatched to an address on Kinman in Polo, for a report of an unresponsive subject.  The subject was deceased upon arrival, and no foul play was suspected. 

On 07/27/2025, at 5:41 pm, a 38-year-old male from Polo, was arrested on a failure to appear traffic violation warrant out of Platte County, MO.

On 07/27/2025, at 9:24 pm, a 40-year-old male from Itasca, TX, was stopped on Highway 36 and Lovely Ridge, Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (19 mph over). 

On 07/28/2025 at 2:00 pm, a deputy took a report of theft that occurred at a residence on Spruce at Hideaway Lakes.  The investigation is on-going. 

On 07/28/2025, at 9:16 pm, a deputy took a report of a stolen firearm, from a resident on Price Drive in Polo.  The owner later found the firearm and the case was closed. 

On 07/29/2025 at 6:39 pm, Caldwell County Deputies attempted a warrant service at 1491 Tobin Valley Rd, Kingston, MO 64650. While on scene, deputies observed severe animal neglect of several dogs.  A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County prosecutor, for consideration in filing formal charges of animal abuse.
