On 01/01/2026, at 9:00 pm, a 20-year-old female from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 13 and Farwest Drive in Kingston, MO, and was cited for no driver's license and no proof of financial responsibility.
On 01/02/2026, at 10:24 am, a 42-year-old female from Chillicothe, MO, was arrested at Supervision Services at 104 W. School Street in Hamilton, MO, on a Livingston County bond violation warrant. The original charge for the warrant is financial exploitation of the elderly.
On 01/02/2026, at 2:10 pm, the Caldwell County Sheriff's Department investigated an incident involving a felon in possession of a firearm, which resulted in the arrest of a 50-year-old male from Polo, MO, for unlawful possession of a firearm.
On 01/02/2026 at 6:40 pm, a 30-year-old male subject being held at the Caldwell County Detention Center was found in possession of an item that is prohibited inside a jail facility during routine searches by staff and deputies. A report was forwarded to the Caldwell County prosecutor, and formal charges were filed. A 29-year-old male inmate was also charged with property damage for damaging a sprinkler system during the search.
On 01/02/2026, at 11:57 pm, a deputy stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 116 and Frog Pond Road in Cowgill, MO, for speeding, which resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old female from Blue Springs, MO, for driving under the influence.
On 1/02/2026 at 3:46 pm, deputies responded to Highway 36 near Kidder, MO, for a report of a domestic disturbance in a vehicle, which resulted in the arrest of a 44-year old male subject from Loveland, CO, for domestic assault.
On 01/02/2026, at 8:58 pm, a 28-year-old female from Springfield, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Benton Street, Kingston, MO, and cited for speeding (10 over).
On 01/03/2026, at 5:12 am, a 61-year-old male from Hamilton was stopped Highway 116 and State Route T in Polo, MO, and was cited for failing to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 1/03/2026, at 11:26 am, a 36-year-old male from Cowgill, MO, was arrested at an address in Cowgill, MO, on an active Caldwell County warrant for domestic assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest also led to two additional charges of endangering the welfare of a child. A 33-year-old female from Cowgill, MO, was also arrested at that location on a Caldwell County warrant for an order of protection violation, which also led to an additional charge of an order of protection violation.
On 01/03/2026, at 5:34 pm, a 53-year-old female from Chillicothe, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Benton Street in Kingston, MO, and cited for speeding (20 mph over).
On 01/04/2026 at 1:27 am, a deputy responded to a business at the 700 block of W. Berry in Hamilton for a disturbance, which led to the arrest of a 21-year-old male from Polo, MO, for driving while intoxicated and property damage. The deputy also took a report of an assault that occurred, but no charges were filed.
On 01/04/2026, at 1:12 pm, a 34-year-old male subject from Lathrop, Caldwell County, MO, was arrested at a residence on Ore Road on an active Caldwell County warrant for domestic assault and property damage.
On 01/04/2026, at 5:13 pm, a deputy responded to a residence on Ash Street in Polo, MO, for a report of trespassing.
On 01/05/2026, at 12:32 am, a 17-year-old female from Braymer, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Boulder in Polo, MO, and was cited for no proof of financial responsibility
On 01/05/2026, at 11:02 am, a deputy located a 33-year-old female from Liberty, MO, at Casey's in Polo and arrested her on an active Caldwell County warrant for an order of protection violation.
On 01/05/2026, at 2:05 pm, a 52-year-old male from Hamilton, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route F, Kingston, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 01/06/2026, at 5:04 am, deputies responded to a structure fire at a residence on 9th Street in Breckenridge, MO. The fire marshall was called to the scene and the investigation into how the fire started in ongoing.
On 01/06/2026, at 10:10 am, a 66-year-old male from Polo, MO, called dispatch and made threats to shoot law enforcement. Deputies responded to an address on Diamond Ridge at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO, and when they made contact with the subject, he continued his threats and was taken into custody. The investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at the home the following day. The subject was charged with harassment, assault, and resisting arrest and remains in custody with no bond.
On 01/07/2026, at 6:22 pm, a 20-year-old female from Polo, MO, was stopped at Francis Street and Center Street, Polo, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 01/07/2026, at 6:44 pm, a 47-year-old female from Blue Springs, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Brangus, Lathrop, Caldwell County, MO, and cited for speeding (13 over).
On 01/07/2026, at 8:35 pm, a 57-year-old female from Polo, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Ore Road, Lathrop, MO, and cited for failing to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 01/07/2026, at 9:26 pm, a 29-year-old male from Kansas City, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route D, Polo, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle and failing to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 01/08/2026, at 12:44 am, a deputy responded to a structure fire on Elk Run Road at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO. No foul play was suspected.
On 01/09/2026, at 9:30 am, a 22-year-old female from Springfield, MO, was arrested during Caldwell County court on a probation violation for testing positive for a controlled substance. The subject served a 48 hour sentence at the Caldwell County Detention Center and was released from custody.
On 01/09/2026, at 9:04 am, a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle that struck the building at Casey's in Polo, MO.
On 01/10/2026, at 8:16 pm, a 25-year-old male from Excelsior Springs, MO, was stopped at Highway 36 and Joe Montana, Cameron, Caldwell County, MO, and cited for speeding (23 over).
On 01/10/2026, at 10:57 pm, a 19-year-old male from Richmond, MO, was stopped at Highway 14 and Quarry Road, Kingston, MO, and cited for speeding (16 over).
On 01/11/2026, at 12:19 pm, a 38-year-old female from Hamilton, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Boulder Road, Polo, MO, and cited for speeding (16 over).
On 01/11/2026, at 2:34 pm, a 53-year-old female from Kansas City, KS, was stopped at Highway 116 and Pikes Road, Polo, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 01/12/2026, at 8:19 am, a deputy responded to an address on Stand Drive, Cameron, Caldwell County, MO, for a report of a mailbox that was shot. The investigation is ongoing.
On 01/12/2026, at 8:21 am, a deputy responded to a domestic dispute at an address on Daviess Street in Nettleton, which resulted in the arrest of a 41-year-old male for domestic assault and endangering the welfare of a child. He remains in custody at the Caldwell County Detention Center on a $50,000 cash only bond.
On 01/14/2026, at 8:28 am, a deputy responded to the Polo High School for a report of threatening messages on Snapchat. Further investigation revealed the messages were sent approximately 2 years ago and no charges were filed.
On 01/15/2026 at 1:10 pm, Caldwell County deputies responded to an address on Spruce Drive at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO, to serve an active Clay County arrest warrant on a 21-year-old male from Kansas City, MO. The subject was located and taken into custody.
On 01/15/2026, at 7:43 pm, a 50-year-old male from Grandview, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Quarry Road, Kingston, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle, failing to provide proof of financial responsibility, and speeding (18 over).

On 01/17/2026, at 12:42 am, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Panther Road at Highway 36, Breckenridge, MO, which resulted in the arrest of a 62-year-old male from Breckenridge for driving while intoxicated.
On 01/17/2026, at 7:46 am, a 57-year-old female from Olathe, KS, was stopped at Highway 36 and State Route K, Breckenridge, MO, and was cited for speeding (17 over).
On 01/17/2026, at 2:54 pm, a 26-year-old female from Rochester, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and Lovely Ridge Road, Hamilton, MO, and cited for speeding (15 over).
On 01/18/2026, at 5:38 pm, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 13 at Zack Wheat Drive, Polo, MO, which resulted in the arrest of a 62-year-old male from Gallatin, MO, for driving while revoked/suspended.
On 01/18/2026, at 5:08 pm, a 40-year-old male from Kearney, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route T, Polo, MO, and cited for speeding (12 over).

On 01/19/2026, at 7:50 pm, a deputy responded to an address on Rosewood Drive at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO, for a well-being check on a child. A report was forwarded to Children's Division.
On 01/21/2026, at 5:26 pm, a deputy responded to an address on N. Murrays for a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was located, and a report was forwarded to the Caldwell County Juvenile Office.
On 01/21/2026, at 11:42 pm, a 32-year-old male from Bogard, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route B, Cowgill, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 01/22/2026, at 4:07 am, a 43-year-old male from Polo, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Templeton, Polo, MO, and cited for failing to provide proof of financial responsibility.
On 01/22/2026, at 3:00 pm, Caldwell County detectives responded with Children's Division to a hotline call that alleged a child had been sexually assaulted by an adult at an address on Sale Barn. A suspect has been identified, and the investigation is on-going.
On 01/23/2026, at 1:03 am, a deputy stopped a car near State Route M and Division Road in Breckenridge, MO, which resulted in the arrest of a 52-year-old male from Parkville, MO, for driving while intoxicated.
On 01/23/2026, at 1:27 pm, a deputy responded to an address on Duroc Drive in Cameron, Caldwell County, MO, for a child custody dispute.
On 01/26/2026, at 11:01 am, a 37-year-old male from Lawrence, KS, was stopped at Highway 36 and State Route B, Hamilton, MO, and was cited for speeding (19 over).
On 01/26/2026, at 12:42 pm, a 36-year-old male from Omaha, NE, was stopped at Highway 36 and Panther Road, Breckenridge, MO, and cited for speeding (20 over).
On 01/26/2026, at 5:24 pm, a 20-year-old male from Hamilton, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Hereford, Polo, MO, and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 01/27/2026, at 10:46 pm, a deputy responded to a report of animal neglect at a residence on May Apple Lane at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO. Several animals were seized from that location and taken to a safe location. The owner, a 65-year-old female, was arrested and charged with 21 counts of animal neglect.
On 01/27/2026, at 1:24 pm, a 22-year-old male from Richmond, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route T, Polo, MO, and cited for speeding (11 over).
On 01/27/2026, at 1:44 pm, a 61-year-old male from Holden, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Boulder Road, Lathrop, MO, and cited for speeding (13 over).
On 01/28/2026, at 2:24 pm, a deputy stopped a vehicle at State Route U and Gillette Road in Hamilton, MO, which resulted in the arrest of a 29-year-old female from Hamilton, MO, for driving without a license. The female was also arrested on a Linn County, Kansas warrant.
On 01/28/2026, at 1:08 pm, a deputy responded to the baseball field in Polo, MO, for a report of property damage. The investigation is ongoing.
On 01/29/2026, at 1:46 am, a deputy responded to a report of a suicidal subject on Main Street in Cowgill, MO. The subject was located and transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.
On 01/30/2026, at 1:51 am, deputies responded to a structure fire on Hawk Drive at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO. The fire is under investigation.
On 01/30/2026, at 6:06 pm, a deputy responded to a tractor fire on State Route D, Kingston, MO. No foul play was suspected.
