On 02/01/2026, at 11:12 am, a 45-year-old male from Bolingbrook, IL, was stopped at Highway 36 and Ponderosa and cited for speeding.
On 02/01/2026, at 1:42 pm, a 34-year-old male from Chillicothe, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Longhorn and cited for speeding.
On 02/01/2026, at 2:42 pm, a 69-year-old male from Oak Grove, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Lead and cited for speeding.

On 02/03/2026, at 10:17 pm, a deputy responded to an address at the 100 block of E Putnam in the city limits of Hamilton for a domestic dispute. The parties involved separated, and no arrests were made.
On 02/03/2026, at 1:53 pm, a deputy took a report of damage to jail property by an inmate. A report was forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office for his consideration in filing formal charges on a 30-year-old male inmate from Kansas City, MO. He remains in custody on unrelated charges.

On 02/06/2026, at 9:54 am, a 22-year-old female from Springfield, MO, was arrested at Caldwell County Court on a probation violation warrant. The subject violated the conditions of her probation by testing positive for a controlled substance.

On 02/13/2026, at 9:30 am, a detective with the Sheriff's Office assisted Children's Division with a child abuse and neglect hotline call at Hideway Lakes. The allegations in the complaint were unfounded; however, the children at the home were removed because of the unsanitary conditions of the home.

On 02/13/2026, at 7:55 pm, a 39-year-old male from Pattonsburg, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Holstein and cited for failing to register.
On 02/13/2026, at 9:13 pm, a deputy, along with the assistance of the highway patrol, responded to an address on Duroc in Kingston, MO, for a report of shots fired. Several spent casings were found in the roadway, and the investigation is ongoing.
On 02/13/2026, at 1:17 pm, deputies responded to a suicidal juvenile at a residence in Braymer, MO. The juvenile was transported by a deputy to a medical facility. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office for consideration in filing formal charges of child endangerment against the juvenile's parents after they failed to seek medical treatment for the child.

On 02/18/2026, at 5:08 pm, a deputy responded to a domestic dispute at a residence in the 700 block of Wisconsin in Breckenridge, involving a parent and child. A report was forwarded to the Juvenile Office.

On 02/22/2026, at 1:17 am, the Sheriff's Office received a call from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office about a reported forcible rape that occurred at an address on 6th Street in Breckenridge, MO. The suspect was identified as a 44-year-old male from Breckenridge. The investigation is ongoing.

On 02/23/2026, at 6:50 pm, a 47-year-old female from Polo, MO, was stopped on Highway 13, near the intersection at State Route V, Polo, MO, and arrested for driving without a license. She was also cited for failing to register a motor vehicle and failing to provide proof of financial responsibility. The passenger, a 63-year-old male from Polo, MO, was also arrested on a no bond State of Missouri probation/parole warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

On 02/24/2026, at 2:00 pm, a deputy took a report of a stalking-related incident that occurred in Breckenridge, MO. The suspect was identified as a 17-year-old juvenile, and a report was forwarded to the Juvenile Office.

On 02/27/2026, at 5:36 am, a deputy responded to Highway 36 for a report of a careless and imprudent driver traveling eastbound from the Caldwell/Livingston county line. The vehicle was located on Highway 36 at Sunset, Hamilton, MO, and the driver, a 21-year-old male from Chillicothe, MO, was cited for no driver's license.
On 02/27/2026, at 10:44 am, a deputy responded to a residence on E Broadway in Breckenridge, MO, for a report of theft. It was discovered the reporting party no longer owned the residence and lost possession of the items they reported stolen. No criminal charges are being sought.
On 02/27/2026, at 1:22 pm, a deputy responded to a residence on Grant Street in Breckenridge, MO, to check the well-being of a 5-year-old child who was dropped off by the school bus at the wrong location. The child was located unharmed, and contact was made with the school staff.
On 02/27/2026, at 1:41 pm, a 68-year-old male from Macon, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Platinum and cited for speeding.
On 02/27/2026, at 2:07 pm, a 31-year-old female from Cameron, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Pikes and cited for speeding.
On 02/27/2026, at 2:27 pm, a deputy responded to a residence on 6th Street in Breckenridge, MO, for a report of property damage. It was reported by the resident that someone shot out the windows of their pickup truck. It is believed this incident is related to the rape investigation that was reported on 02/22/2026, and the investigation is ongoing.

On 02/28/2026, at 1:28 pm, a deputy responded to the Caldwell County Detention Center for a report of a 62-year-old male from Hamilton, MO who arrived at that location under the influence of a controlled substance. That subject believed they had a warrant for their arrest and were there to turn themselves in; however, they did not. The subject was arrested for driving while intoxicated and placed on a 24-hour hold.
