On 04/01/2026, at 3:25 am, deputies responded to a burglary in progress at a business in Braymer, MO. A suspect has been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
On 04/01/2026, at 11:28 am, a 64-year-old male from Parkville, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Frog Pond and cited for speed (13 over).
On 04/01/2026, at 8:50 pm, a 55-year-old male from Braymer, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Highway 13 and cited for speed (12 over) and failure to register a motor vehicle.
On 04/02/2026, at 8:48 am, a 42-year-old male from Richmond, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and State Route F and cited for speed (14 over).
On 04/02/2026, at 3:24 pm, a 19-year-old female from Lexington, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route D and cited for speed (11 over).
On 04/02/2026, at 7:19 pm, an incident involving the sexual exploitation of a child was reported to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office. A report was forwarded to the Children's Division.
On 04/06/2026, at 6:40 pm, a deputy stopped a car at Highway 116 and State Route V in Polo, which resulted in the arrest of a 70-year-old male from Polo for no driver's license.
On 04/06/2026, at 12:37 pm, a 43-year-old female from Polo, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Silver Road and cited for speed (12 over).
On 04/06/2026, at 5:30 pm, an 18-year-old male from Braymer, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Gold and cited for speed (16 over).
On 04/06/2026, at 8:01 pm, a deputy stopped a car at Highway 116 and State Route T, which resulted in the arrest of a 43-year-old male from Eagle Grove, IA, for no driver's license.
On 04/07/2026, at 3:30 pm, a 62-year-old male from Excelsior Springs, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Pikes and cited for speed (16 over).
On 04/11/2026, at 12:08 am, a 20-year-old from Hamilton, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and State Route D and cited for failing to register a motor vehicle.
On 04/11/2026, at 7:00 am, deputies responded to Hideaway Lakes, Polo, for a report of harassment. No arrests were made.
On 04/11/2026, at 9:25 pm, Caldwell County deputies responded for an unruly inmate who was damaging property at the jail. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office for the filing of formal charges.
On 04/11/2026, at 5:53 pm, a 41-year-old male from Excelsior Springs, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Silver and cited for expired plates.
On 04/13/2026, at 8:37 am, a deputy received a walk-in report at the Sheriff's Office of property damage that occurred in Breckenridge. The owner of the property wanted to report property damage and theft from the previous tenant.
On 04/15/2026, at 2:50 pm, a deputy stopped a car in Braymer, which resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old female from Braymer for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and hindering prosecution in a felony prosecution. She remains in custody on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
On 04/15/2026, at 2:50 pm, a 38-year-old male from Braymer was arrested on outstanding warrants during a traffic stop in Braymer.
On 04/15/2026, at 7:21 pm, a deputy responded to a residence on 9th Street in Breckenridge for a well-being check on a 31-year-old male subject. The subject was located and may have been experiencing mental health issues.
On 04/15/2026, at 8:44 pm, Caldwell County deputies were dispatched to SW Price Dr. and Highway 13, Polo, in reference to a tractor fire.
On 04/15/2026, at 8:51 pm, a 34-year-old male or female from Plattsburg, MO, was stopped at Main and Center and cited for expired plates.
On 04/16/2026, at 1:20 pm, deputies responded to an address on 9th Street in Breckenridge, MO, for a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was transported to a medical facility.
On 04/16/2026, at 5:36 pm, Caldwell County deputies, with the assistance of US Marshals and the Clinton County Sheriff's Office, responded to Hideaway Lakes, Polo, to serve felony warrants on a male subject. The subject was taken into custody.
On 04/16/2026, at 6:30 pm, Caldwell County deputies received a call regarding a juvenile that received explicit photos on their phone. The investigation is ongoing.
On 04/17/2026, at 3:25 am, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Soo Line Road at Case Road in Cowgill, which resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old female from Cowgill for driving while intoxicated.
On 04/17/2026, at 2:25 pm, a 39-year-old male from Turney, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Brangus and cited for speed (14 over).
On 04/17/2026, at 7:00 am, deputies responded to a structure fire in Nettleton.
On 04/17/2026, at 3:29 pm, a 27-year-old male from Greenfield, IA, was stopped at Highway 13 and Quarry and cited for speed (13 over).
On 04/18/2026, at 2:45 am, a 17-year-old from Brookfield, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Dogs Road and cited for speed (22 over).
On 04/18/2026, at 9:39 am, a 53-year-old male from Maysville, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Lead Road and cited for speed (14 over).
On 04/18/2026, at 3:57 pm, a 24-year-old female from Columbia, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Old Highway 13 and cited for speed (21 over).
On 4/19/2026, at 1:37 pm, Caldwell County deputies responded to State Route P & Mill Creek for a report of a possible suicide. A subject from Minnesota was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
On 04/20/2026, at 1:03 am, Caldwell County deputies received a call in reference to a suspicious vehicle at the corner of Tri County Line Rd and Duroc Rd. The deputy located the vehicle with a subject passed out in the driver's seat. The driver, a 30-year-old male from Springfield, MO, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
On 04/20/2026, at 5:25 pm, a deputy took a report of theft from a resident on Dove Drive at Hideaway Lakes in Polo.
On 04/20/2026, at 8:28 pm, a 20-year-old male from Excelsior Springs, MO, was stopped at Highway 116 and Brangus and cited for speed (20 over).
On 04/20/2026, at 9:21 pm, a deputy responded to an address on N. Willis in the City of Hamilton for a well-being check on a female subject.
On 04/21/2026, at 7:49 pm, a 28-year-old male from Polo, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Oak Street in Polo, MO, and cited for speed (22 over).
On 04/21/2026, at 9:11 pm, a deputy responded to a business in Polo, MO, for a report of harassment.
On 04/22/2026, at 10:25 am, a deputy responded to a church in Braymer for a report of burglary and property damage. The investigation is ongoing.
On 04/22/2026, at 8:50 pm, a deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Kidder Road in Kidder. The altercation was verbal, and no arrests were made.
On 04/23/2026, at 6:30 am, a 40-year-old male from Braymer was stopped at Highway 13 and Far West and cited for speed (13 over).
On 04/23/2026, at 8:17 am, a deputy responded to Braymer High School for a report of two students in possession of vape pens. The incident was handled by school staff and parents.
On 04/24/2026, at 11:04 am, Caldwell County deputies, with the assistance of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force, served an active warrant on a 56-year-old female and a 39-year-old male at Hideaway Lakes in Polo, MO.
On 04/25/2026, at 9:43 am, a 35-year-old male from Cameron was stopped at State Route D and Jewell and cited for failure to register a motor vehicle.
On 04/25/2026, a resident of Parkville, MO, reported a scam. It was reported that while the victim was incarcerated at the Caldwell County Detention Center, their spouse was involved in a scam phone call that resulted in the loss of $1,300. The investigation is ongoing.
On 04/25/2026, at 1:24 pm, a 32-year-old male from Ava, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Highway 116 and cited for failure to register a motor vehicle.
On 04/25/2026, at 6:56 pm, a 23-year-old male from San Antonio, TX, was stopped at Highway 36 and Highway 13 and cited for speed (25 over).
On 04/25/2026, at 7:07 pm, a 20-year-old male from Polo was stopped at Highway 13 and Highway 116 and cited for speed (15 over).
On 04/28/2026, at 7:31 am, a 51-year-old male from Chillicothe, MO, was stopped at Highway 13 and Kendal Road and cited for speed (12 over).
On 04/28/2026, at 1:38 pm, a deputy investigated a sex offender that failed to register in Caldwell County. A report was forwarded to the prosecutor's office.
On 04/28/2026, at 12:42 pm, a deputy responded to a residence on Last Drive and served an active arrest warrant on a 49-year-old male.
On 04/28/2026, at 3:01 pm, a 30-year-old male from Hamilton was stopped at Highway 116 and Highway 13 and cited for speed (12 over).
